Step One: View Orientation Video
The first step in opening an in-home child care business is completing the OCFS CHILD DAY CARE ORIENTATION. You must complete the orientation video in order to request an application for a registration / license. Your Application comes from Albany and may take a few weeks to receive in the mail. Once your application arrives, we are here to help you, free of charge! Our Registrars are available to answer questions over the phone at (315) 446-1220 or by making an appointment to review your application IN PERSON AT OUR OFFICE.
You will be required to create an account with a username and password before you can watch the video. Save this information because you will use this account many times.
