Scholarships & Other Income Based Assistance

Families in Onondaga County may be able to take advantage of other income based assistance programs if they don’t qualify for subsidized child care:

Community Child Care Scholarship:

Funded by United Way of Central NY, the Community Child Care Scholarship is designed to help Onondaga County residents working to manage the high cost of child care. Parents enrolled in certain educational or vocational programs may also qualify. There are family and income guidelines you must meet; see the chart below. If you are part of a registered or licensed program and think the families you provide care for might benefit from this program, please contact us to receive an informational poster that can be posted.

For more information or to apply for the scholarship, call Child Care Solutions at (315) 446-1220 ext. 303.
