Financial Assistance for Training
CSEA/VOICE Professional Development Program
Get the state approved training you need to meet your registration/licensing requirements at no cost to you! Funding is available through the CSEA/VOICE Professional Development Program for all NYS enrolled Legally Exempt, Registered Family or Licensed Group Family child care providers outside of New York City. You can register for any training, free of charge, including Conferences, CPR/First Aid, MAT, Pyramid Model and more! You can take as many classes as you like. Follow directions below to get started using this funding source. This funding is not available for Assistants or Substitutes.
October 1st of each year providers will be updated and if they did not use this funding in the previous year they will have to start the process back up. If you need help, please call CSEA/VOICE directly at (855) 472-6848.
How to Become Authorized for the CSEA/VOICE Professional Development Program:
To use CSEA funding please go to the VOICE website at: www.voicecsea.org
Under the “Resources” tab choose “Training” then scroll down the page to the CSEA/VOICE Professional Development Training Program.
Where it says “How to Use this Program” click on the link in #1 and enter your License/Registration/Enrollment Number and CSEA ID# then choose Child Care Solutions as the training location you wish to use.
If you have problems using the CSEA website please give them a call at (855) 472-6848 for help.
That’s it! You can now give Child Care Solutions a call (315-446-1220) and register for as many training workshops as you’d like.
Educational Incentive Program (EIP)
Scholarship funding to participate in training may be available through the Educational Incentive Program (EIP). For more information or to apply for a scholarship, please visit https://www.ecetp.pdp.albany.edu/apply.aspx. You may also contact EIP at (800) 295-9616. The MAT (Medication Administration Training) Scholarship Program
The MAT (Medication Administration Training) Scholarship Program is sponsored by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, with funds provided by the Child Care and Development Fund. If you plan to take a MAT Course, you will be given a Rebate form to submit to PDP for refund of the full amount you paid for the course. These classes have to be paid prior to training date.
