Simple Eligibility & Commitment

• This grant-funded opportunity is open to registered in-home providers (Family Day Care and Group Family Day Care) in Cayuga and Onondaga Counties.

• Provider must be establishing a new MAT certification.

• Must commit to a three-year MAT certification and insurance stipend contract.

What You Receive:

• Full Funding for MAT Certification: Every dollar for your training courses, educational materials, and required health evaluations is completely covered.

• Complete Medical Safety Equipment: Receive a medical kit for your home or facility, including a heavy-duty locking medication cabinet and first-aid essentials.

• Your Own “Shared Medical Director” (RN Oversight): You will never have to navigate a child’s health needs alone. Child Care Solutions’ staff Registered Nurse works alongside you to review and approve every child’s Health Care Plan, giving you full clinical confidence.

• Tiered Liability Insurance Stipends: Protecting your home and business is a top priority. To make your transition smooth, our grant provides direct stipends covering 50% of your liability insurance costs in Year 1 and 25% in Year 2 of your three-year certification cycle, or up to the allocated maximum stipend amount.
