Honoring Excellence in Early Childhood Care
We believe that the strength of our community begins with those who nurture its youngest members. Provider Appreciation Day is an opportunity to recognize the tireless dedication of our early childhood care professionals. These experts do far more than provide a service; they are the architects of our children’s cognitive, social, and physical futures. We invite you to join us in celebrating the vital role they play in building a stronger, more equitable community for us all.

What is Provider Appreciation Day?
Provider Appreciation Day (also known as Child Care Provider Appreciation Day) started by a group of volunteers in New Jersey in 1996. The group saw the necessity of recognizing the strong and endless efforts of providers who care for children of working parents.
Every year, Provider Appreciation Day is celebrated the Friday before Mother's Day. It serves as a moment for families, communities, and organizations to express gratitude for the individuals who support the cognitive, socio-emotional, and physical development of children.
