2024 Child Care Enhancement Grant Program Guidelines

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a licensed or registered Child Care program in Onondaga County.
Licensed / Registered child care programs must be currently providing care for at least one unrelated child.
Programs must be in good standing and cannot be in Suspension, Denial or Revocation status with NYS Office of Children Family Services.
Family / Group Family Day Care programs must own the home in which child care services will be provided.
Child Care Centers, if not owned, must provide documentation of a current lease agreement that encompasses the current year plus 6 years in the future.

Purpose of Funds:

The funds are designated for enhancing the quality of child care services provided with maximum award amount of $10,000.

The First round of applications ended May 24,2024.

There may be a second round in May 2025 dependent on the budget. We will keep you posted.
