Guiding Little Stars: Positive Behavior Strategies   instructor - Jean Fetzko

This training aims to equip daycare providers with positive behavior guidance strategies in line with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) regulations. Educators will feel more confident in their ability to guide children positively throughout the day, equipped with practical tools and strategies that foster a nurturing and structured learning environment.   Covers Categories:   1, 3, 7

Session 2     10:15 - 11:45 am

Purposeful Conversations with Young Children   instructor - Jean Fetzko

This training will discuss the many ways an educator can promote and enhance language development with young children and the importance of “being present” with children when you are talking with them.     Covers Categories:   1, 3

Session 3     1:00 - 2:30 pm

Mindful Moments: Cultivating Calm and Connection with your Environment   instructor - Katie Mueller

Educators not only learn about wellness but also experience it and will leave with practical tools they can immediately use in their classrooms. Create tools and activities to promote a calm and nurturing environment.   Covers Categories:   1, 3, 10
