2024 Child Care Enhancement Grant Program Guidelines
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a licensed or registered Child Care program in Onondaga County.
- Licensed / Registered child care programs must be currently providing care for at least one unrelated child.
- Programs must be in good standing and cannot be in Suspension, Denial or Revocation status with NYS Office of Children Family Services.
- Family / Group Family Day Care programs must own the home in which child care services will be provided.
- Child Care Centers, if not owned, must provide documentation of a current lease agreement that encompasses the current year plus 6 years in the future.
Purpose of Funds:
- The funds are designated for enhancing the quality of child care services provided with maximum award amount of $10,000.
First round of applications will open on May 1st and end on May 24th. A second round will become available at a later date.
