Child Abuse and Maltreatment and Neglect Including Shaken Baby Syndrome

Childcare providers play a special role in the lives of children, including keeping children safe.  One way providers can keep children safe is by recognizing the signs of abuse in this training, we will discuss the role of the Mandated Reporter.  We will also review the summary guide for Mandated Reporters.  Participants will identify indicatros of child abuse and maltreatment/neglect and learn the procedure for making reports of suspected child abuse and malteatment/neglect.
