Sheltering in Place

Participants will review the OCFS paperwork and regulations that are required for shelter in place drills and practice emergency procedures by reviewing sheltering in place scenarios.  Participants will discuss how to have a stress free and instructive evacuation drill experience by using child-appropriate methods to discuss emergency procedures and practice mock conversations they could have with a child during different types of sheltering in place scenarios.
