Supporting Children & Families Through The Transitions of Childcare

Transitions are a natural part of childcare and can be difficult for both children and their families. Children may transition to different classrooms or centers as they reach certain ages, there will be new caregivers and new classmates with each transition, and the expectations will differ with each group. In this session we'll discuss how you can help prepare children and families for transitions through activities and discussion and ensure transitions are a positive experience for everyone.
