Designing a Staff Orientation Plan

When new staff are hired it is crucial that a well-designed orientation plan be developed so both the staff and the program managers feel comfortable that important information has been covered and the new hire has the knowledge they need to enter the classroom with background knowledge that allows them to begin work feeling confident. In this training we will look at what topics need to be covered during a staff orientation and some unique ways you can create an orientation plan that is user-friendly and helps staff to retain the information they are given.
