This is a 15 hour competency based course that provides the foundation for practices to protect the health and safety of children in child care settings. Successful completion is required for all new family / group family child care providers as well as new directors in New York State prior to licensure or registration.

Wednesday, February 15th from 5:30-9:00 pm
Saturday, February 25th from 8:00-4:00 pm

To register you must follow these directions:
Step 1: You must first register your name on the PDP website so your name appears on the site. Go to: ECETP Sign Up and create an account. (If you already have an account sign in with your username and password.)
Step 2: Go to: H & S Dates and click Syracuse to find your course easier. Then click on the highlighted name of the course to go to the Registration area. You will be asked to sign in with your account information that you just created.
Step 3: Once your name appears on PDP you will be e-mailed a secure payment link so you can finalize your registration payment.
Final Note: When all the above steps are followed you will be marked "Registered".
