Making Families Feel Welcome

Do families feel welcome in your program?  What steps have you taken to make sure your environment and interactions are not only welcoming to the children in your care but also to their families?  Participants will discuss ways to promote positive relationships between home and school where families feel valued and respected.  This session will cover communicating with families, the importance of setting up volunteer opportunities for families to participate in, and the importance of building meaningful relationships with children and families.
