Emergency Medications: Are You Ready?
This 2-hour review course covers when and how to administer emergency medications as defined by OCFS as "epinephrine auto injectors, diphenhydramine in combination with the auto injector, asthma inhalers and nebulizers". Review signs & symptoms of an asthma and anaphylactic reactions, documentation required, and a hands on demonstration. This course is directed towards staff that has completed only CPR and First Aid certifications or the full OCFS approved MAT course. This course does not replace required child specific training or the OCFS MAT course.
