Portfolio Accountability

Registration is closed for this event

Gathering data about children to assess a child's learning and development is a central part of the teacher's role. Teacher must make daily decisions about children that should be based on accurate and appropriate information. Portfolios, work samples, and teacher observations over time can provide the tools necessary to identify individual strengths and weakness. Participants will learn to critically observe children, develop and use meaningful portfolios to meet children's needs.
