During this workshop, we'll discuss the nutritional needs of school-age children as outlines in the OCFS SACC requirements under "nutrition" as well as USDA regulations.  We will talk about barriers you may face when offering healthy snack options to school-age children, plan snack options that are healthy and safe, review sample snack menus and discuss ways to successfully offer snacks that meet the regulatory guidelines and are appealing to children.
